Grunnleggeren av Kari Traa
Hei, jeg er Kari, tredobbelt olympisk medaljevinner og grunnlegger av Kari Traa. Jeg vokste opp på Voss, der jeg ble født med ski på beina. Jeg kastet meg ut i de kupperte løypene og ble til slutt en olympisk mester i mogulskikjøring i 2002. Da sponsorene til slutt kom på banen med klær for idrettsutøvere, var de bare designet for herrelaget. Så jeg bestemte meg for å hekle og strikke mine egne luer under trening og konkurranser. Luene ble så populære blant venner og medskiløpere at jeg bestemte meg for å gjøre hobbyen til en virksomhet. Og så ble Kari Traa-merket født.
Å inspirere andre kvinner til å våge å følge drømmene sine har alltid vært en stor motivasjon for meg, og jeg har alltid fokusert på målet om å utligne kjønns- og maktubalanser i idretten og samfunnet generelt.

About Kari Traa
Kari Traa is not just a three-time Olympic medalist, but also the founder of Europe's fastest-growing women's sports brand. Her inspiring story started in the mountainous village of Voss, Norway, where she was born with skis on her feet. Her overpowering talent for particularly bumpy trails led her to become an Olympic champion mogul skier in 2002.
