Get into the spirit of Halloween by starting your day, or surprising someone, with a nutritious Halloween Oatmeal bowl. Tasty, simple and scarylicious.
1/3 cup of oats
1 cup of almond milk
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Agave syrup to sweeten
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp cacao powder
1 banana and other fruits or berries that you prefer
In a sauce pan, add oats, pumpkin puree, cinnamon and almond milk in, and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring regularly until creamy. Add vanilla extract and agave syrup just before serving.
Blend the coconut oil with some agave syrup and cacao powder to make the chocolate drizzle. Cut the banana in two before you cut the ends into three sharp triangle-forms to create the ghost-like figures. Pour on the chocolate drizzle to create the eyes and mouth on the banana.
