Who is Kari Traa?

Kari Traa is a women’s active apparel brand started by Norwegian freestyle skier and Olympic gold medalist Kari Traa. We have quickly become one of the fastest growing sports brands worldwide, and is the leading base layer brand in Scandinavia. We bring playful, highly technical and quality activewear to the modern day active woman.

Over the past years, we have grown exponentially, starting just with Kari herself knitting her own beanies as a hobby, to designing a variety of patterns and designs in base layers, jackets, workout gear, shoes, hats and more. We are sustainably minded, often using natural materials like Merino Wool and TENCEL™ Modal, as well as preparing thoughtful recycle-friendly packaging and taking the Greenpoint Plastic Pledge.
